Deuce Progress

This week showed more progress on the Tsukagawa Deuce. The sending unit showed up for the fuel level gauge and it fit right out of the box. Nice! I took some extra time to go over the chassis one last time while the body is off, and I took a few pics with the body next to the chassis.

I also decided to properly restore the original 1932 steering column drop. It was painted when we got it but it was missing the switch on the back and the paint was out of a spray can. So I took the whole thing apart and had it properly prepped and painted. Then I scrounged through my parts collection and found an original switch off a '37. I took it apart and restored it as well, I thionk it turned out nice. Since the column  drop came out so well I decided to have the '40 Deluxe steering wheel redone as well. I had it prepped and shot in single stage black enamel.

Body goes on next week!
