Meet The Players

This 1957 Ranchero has some cool history. It was supposed to have been built here in Pasadena sometime in the early 60's and was owned by two different editors of Rod & Custom magazine over the years. It had a DeSoto grill in it back in the day and was a notable custom. The roof was chopped and the work is pretty nice, it appears to have been gas welded. It was brought in to make some small fixes to the wiindow regulators and the door latches. Pretty cool!

The car was chopped a long time ago, that's certain from the gas welds.

The stance is right and it looks good chopped.

Someone added the funky tail lights along the way, and the moon discs.

The gauges are modern-ish Mooneyes but the steering wheel is a large Bell which is period correct for the '60's build and not reproduced today.
