Meet The Players

This 1958 Morris Minor Traveller came in for a late model engine swap. I swapped in a Toyota 4A four cylinder motor with an automatic transmission. The client is building this for his better half so the car had to have the automatic and it also had to have air conditioning. These cars are tiny so it took a lot of fiddling to get a radiator in the stock location, but the a/c condensor had to go above the motor on the firewall. I also modified the dashboard to accept modern gauges and I filled all the holes in the firewall. This Morris Minor is a very clean example and is also a woody wagon. Now that the fabrication work is done the car is going to the bodyman for paint work, then it will come back to me for final assembly, wiring, exhaust, etc.

This is the third project I've done for this client, the others being a 1964 Ford Falcon Sedan Delivery and a 1965 Ford Ranchero.
