1965 Malibu Progress-Details

I am getting this car ready to take to market, so it needs to run and drive. This week I also took care of a lot of details on the car, like installing the fuel system, getting the grill sorted out, installing the cooling system, the fuel system, the exhaust manifolds, etc.

Here's the highlights!

Here' the motor pretty much ready to run.

The radiator had to be custom made since we used a motor with a long water pump. We also had to get ride of the secondary core support bracket. It worked out well and I'm sure other 64-65 Chevelle owners have done exactly the same thing.

The grill was a bit of a mess but here it is all straightened out with the correct number of headlights!

Here's the other side of the motor, you can see the wiring and the exhaust manifolds installed. I blasted them and painted with hi temp cast iron paint. For some reason paint seems to last a lot longer on cast manifolds versus tubular headers.
