Meet The Players

This 1955 Chevrolet sedan is a project that was started many moons ago and never got finished. The original builder was making it into a drag car and the new owner (my client) wants to put it on the street. He brought it to me to make all the changes that will allow it to live as a street car, like replacing the soild motor mounts and  solid body mounts with rubber ones. There's a whole lot more to be done as well, this was the car that got the custom dash.

This customer has a supercharged big block Chevy motor making 800-ish horsepower that will be going tino the car when it's ready, he has been building the motor for several years now and it is a gem. Check it out!

The car has a lot of work into it at this point, the entire body was dipped to bare metal and then powder primed.

I love the wheels, they are American Racing Daises, the rears are custom widened.

My first job is to make rubber motor mounts so the owner can drive the car on the street without losing his fillings. Here you can see the mockup motor and the modern front suspension with rack and pinion steering.

The whole car is like this, just stopped in mid job. I'll have to finish the trunk tin work and mount a fuel cell in there as well.

Here's the motor, and 8-71 blown big block Chevy.

He polished or plated everything, even the aluminum heads.

That's about $800 worth of polished stainless fuel lines you're looking at there.
