Meet The Players

This 1966 Corvette is a one owner, 42,000 mile original mile car. It's powered by a 390 horsepower 427 big block and backed with a Muncie 4 speed. My client found this car locally, it had been taken apart for a minor restoration and some motor work maybe 20 years ago and never got back together. The original owner passed away and that's when my client stepped in.

His plan is to put it all back together and put it on the market. It is a rare car in that it is a big block roadster that was ordered without the soft top (it has a removeable hard top only) and it is a true low mile, matching number deal. I checked all the casting and stamping numbers, they are all correct. I will put the motor back together, paint everything to make it look new, freshen up the interior and go through the brakes to make it a runner and driver again.

Check it out!

The car is in great shape. It's had one repaint maybe 20 years ago that has never seen the road. It will need some cut and buff work but we'll have that done after the car is all back together.

This car had no sidepipes from the factory. Check out the bias ply Goldline tires!

The interior has never been restored but we will be freshening thing up a bit with new door panels and a new drivers side dash cove.

In this pic I have already started masking and painting to get the engine bay back to original.
