This is a 1967.5 (nineteen-sixty-seven-and-a-half...) Datsun Roadster. I don't think they had a model name here in the US market, but in Japan they were called "Fairlady". It's a cool little sports car, kind of like Datsun's take on an MGB. The 1967.5 is a particularly desireable year, all things being equal.
This one also has a late model Nissan SR20DET motor, which is a 2 liter turbocharged engine making 200-ish horsepower. It's a great swap and really wakes up the car as they were 96 horsepower stock. Plus it's all Nissan, which is nice.
This car came in to have the turbo system built. None of the stock Nissan piping will work in this swap so it all needs to be made, from manifold to throttle body. The manifold is starting with a universal log style manifold from JGS which has to be finished to the specs of this swap. Next I need to build a stainless steel downpipe and all the intercooler piping in aluminum. I built three of these cars with similar engine swaps, so I have a little headstart on this one.

After a well deserved cleaning, the car looks pretty decent. |

The quarter panels are straight and the car has ben repainted once from silver to the current white. |

Here's the star of the show, the blacktop SR20DET motor. See the log manifold? It's a universal kit sort of thing, pretty well engineered and capable of making good horsepower. |
