Studebaker Progress

Over the last few weeks I have been picking away at the Studebaker. The original plan was to have it ready to drive to Bonneville in August but after seeing the car on the ground I'm thinking maybe I could have it driving for the LA Roadster show on June 18.

Stance is everything. The before and after shots of this car speak for themselves. It's got attitude now!

Here it is in the nosebleed seats.

Affter a steady application of lowering blocks and torches, voila!
Ohhhhhh yeah.

I used a super tall tire on the rear and then buried it in the wheel well.
From this angle I can imagine how a 2" chop would work well.
One of the kids who works next door said it looks "Sick."
I'm still cleaning up the interior, but I did make the shifter.

The shifter is part Model A Ford and part Tremec 5 speed.  Boo Ya!
